What to pack for Djibouti in the summer
Packing list tips
In Djibouti, summer temperatures can reach up to 100°F (38°C) or higher, so it is important to bring lightweight and breathable clothing.
Opt for loose-fitting garments made of natural fabrics like cotton or linen to help keep you cool in the hot and humid weather. Brightly colored clothing is common in Djibouti, so feel free to pack colorful tops and dresses.
Since Djibouti is a conservative Muslim country, it is advised to dress modestly. Women should bring longer skirts or dresses that cover the knees, as well as tops that cover the shoulders and cleavage. Men should pack long pants and shirts with sleeves.
It is also a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the strong African sun.(setq)
